Step 1: Unboxing Your Ledger Device

Before starting, ensure that your Ledger device packaging is intact. Always use the official Ledger packaging to avoid tampering.

Checklist:

• Ledger device (Nano S or Nano X)
• USB cable
• Recovery sheet
• Instructions manual

Step 2: Connecting Your Device

Plug your Ledger device into your computer or mobile device using the USB cable.

Important Notes:

• Do not connect your device to public computers.
• Ensure Ledger Live is downloaded from Ledger.com/start.

Step 3: Installing Ledger Live

Ledger Live is the official app to manage your cryptocurrency. Download it from the official site and follow the installation instructions.

• Choose the correct OS version (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Install the app and launch it.

Step 4: Setting Up Your Ledger Device

Follow these steps to configure your device:

1. Select "Set up as new device".
2. Create a PIN code (6-8 digits).
